Our annual inter-school sports tournament for our partner schools was a day filled with laughter, tears, and unforgettable moments. We extend our gratitude to Midlands Community College for hosting the event. Your support and hospitality ensured that the day ran smoothly. In the spirit of competition, sportsmanship, and teamwork, our tournament on the 19th of August, 2023, was an exhilarating showcase of young talent and dedication. The air was excited as learners, coaches, and supporters gathered to witness the battles on soccer fields to the Netball courts.
Seeing our young learners exemplify the value of sportsmanship as they demonstrated respect for their opponents, referees, and fellow teammates was heartwarming. Whether it was a congratulatory handshake after a hard-fought match or words of encouragement to a struggling teammate, the sportsmanship displayed was truly commendable. It is a testament to sport's character–building aspect, teaching our youth essential life skills. The collaboration among teammates was awe-inspiring, with players seamlessly working together to achieve their collective goals. Every pass, every goal, and every point scored resulted from the countless hours of practice and the unwavering trust teammates had in each other.
